Habitat & Species Survey

Habitat and species surveys underpin any ecological appraisal. It is vital that surveys are undertaken to a high standard by qualified and trained personnel (see Standards) and at the most appropriate time of year. Baker Shepherd Gillespie has a large in-house team of ecologists complemented by a range of associate ecologists who are able to undertake any surveys that may be required to assess a site's ecological value. Whilst each member of staff has their own specialism, all our consultants are trained in a wide range of industry-standard survey techniques and carry the necessary licences to survey for particular species or groups of species.
