Following seven successful years operating from our office in the borders, we are very pleased to announce that we are relocating from Berwick upon Tweed to City Centre Newcastle. At the same time we are assessing options for the development of a presence further north, in Scotland.
A city centre office is a first for BSG Ecology, after having grown over the last sixteen years in five of the most picturesque parts of the UK. We have decided, though, that this move best suits our expansion plans locally and will allow us to better serve our existing clients.
The new office is in Cuthbert House, a few minutes’ walk from Central Station and the Metro. We will be physically closer to many clients and will be far more able to drop by to provide face-to-face ecological advice and guidance. We find that sitting down with clients is usually the best and most efficient way of working together, helping us gain a more thorough understanding of the client’s objectives and their project’s complexities. It also better enables us to identify ecological issues and constraints, and how to address these, at the earliest opportunity. This is particularly important for our involvement in larger, more complex masterplanning, urban regeneration, renewables and infrastructure commissions.
We are looking forward to the exciting opportunities that will arise from this move. If you feel we can be of assistance with any of your projects, or if you would simply like to discuss the potential ecological implications of a project, please get in touch and we will be happy to help.
