BSG can carry out the complete range of ecological survey and assessment from Phase 1 Habitat Survey, detailed botanical surveys (NVC) through to surveys for even the most obscure insect, lichen or fungus. The vast majority of work is undertaken in-house and whilst each member of staff has their own specialism, all our consultants are trained in a wide range of survey techniques. This is invaluable in understanding the bigger picture and the complex inter-relationships of habitats and species. We also have a network of specialist associates who can provide expert consultancy for some of the more obscure species or groups.
