Charlotte joined BSG Ecology’s Monmouth office in September 2017, having previously worked for the company as an Assistant Ecologist in 2016. During her time with BSG, Charlotte has developed her field skills through involvement in bat, great crested newt, reptile, dormouse and extended Phase 1 Habitat surveys. Charlotte’s current role primarily involves bat echolocation call analysis, and processing thermal imaging data (in relation to bats).
Charlotte has a Master’s degree in Biosciences, for which she carried out an independent research project investigating the effects of climate change on oak phenology, and the consequent impacts on a small passerine bird, the pied flycatcher (Ficedula hypoleuca).
