BSG Ecology is delighted to have been short-listed for two prestigious CIEEM awards; Medium Scale Consultancy of the Year and the Small Scale Mitigation and Enhancement Award. Having won the Medium Scale Consultancy of the Year award in 2018, it is very exciting to be short-listed for a second year.
We are delighted to announce that BSG Ecology has been awarded the best medium scale ecology consultancy of the year award by CIEEM, the leading professional membership body representing and supporting professional ecologists and environmental managers. The award provides recognition of the technical excellence of BSG’s work, our commitment to developing our staff and our efforts in promoting the profession.
BSG Ecology is delighted to announce that our collaborative work with LDA Design (as lead consultant) on the Network Rail National Lineside Vegetation Management Strategy has won the Strategic Landscape Planning section of the Landscape Institute Awards 2013.
BSG Ecology was delighted to receive the inaugural award for best roost mitigation project from the Bat Conservation Trust for our work at Totterdown Barns in Gloucestershire. The award not only recognises BSG’s role in delivering this project, but also that of the architect Mathewson Waters and the developer Rivar Ltd.  Effective collaboration was essential to arrive at a winning design for the conversion to residential use.
We are delighted to have been shortlisted for the annual Sustain Magazine awards under the category of Biodiversity for the Building 10 Brown Roof project at Woolwich Arsenal. This exciting project, which has been undertaken in collaboration with LDA-Design for Berkeley Homes (Urban Renaissance) in 2008/09, is one of the largest brown roof projects in London, covering 5,000 square metres.
Dr Peter Shepherd attended the Landscape Institute Awards 2009 to receive an award which highly commends BSG and LDA Design for the Thames Basin Heaths project. The award was in the in the Management category.
