Jamie joined BSG Ecology’s full time staff in 2017, after supporting our Oxford office on a seasonal basis for several years.
He has contributed to a wide range of projects from barn conversions and refurbishment of listed buildings to large residential and mixed use schemes. Jamie’s experience includes working alongside contractors as an Ecological Clerk of Works during the implementation of European Protected Species Mitigation licences. He holds a Class 1 survey licence for great crested newts, and has considerable experience of GCN population and eDNA surveys. He has also undertaken numerous bat emergence, re-entry and activity surveys, daytime building and tree assessments for bats, reptile presence / absence surveys and invertebrate sampling and analysis. In addition, Jamie has completed analysis of large bat data sets using Analook.
Jamie has a Bachelor of Sciences degree in Aquaculture and Sports Fishery Management, obtained at Portsmouth University in 2011.
