Natalie has worked in research and consultancy since 2011, and joined BSG Ecology in March 2017 . Prior to this she held posts with multidisciplinary and ecological consultancies in the north east of England.
Her work involves protected species surveys, extended phase 1 habitat surveys, and the preparation of fee proposals, reports and mitigation plans. She is also experienced at bat call analysis and the use of GIS software. Natalie is also able to act as Ecological Clerk of Works.
Natalie holds Natural England and Scottish Natural Heritage licences for bat (Class 2) and great crested newts (Class 1). In addition to this she has experience of carrying out surveys for reptiles, invertebrates and a range of mammals including badger, otter, water vole and red squirrel. She is currently working towards her protected species survey licence for white-clawed crayfish.
